This product has not yet been phased out. Our first set shocked my son when it landed in his ears so we sent it back for a refund. Let's see if the replacement devices work better. I'll update (and give more runs if proven) once we try a second pair. *****UPDATE****The first pair we had were defective and LilGadgets went out of their way to refund our costs and replace the item. We've been using the replacement set daily for a month and haven't had any problems. We love the no-obfuscation feature! and they block noise very well. +++Update 2017+++ We have had them for a little over a year now and they are used 5 days a week. A page has stopped working, so we need to replace it. Overall a good investment and worth not fiddling with all the time.
