Same experience as others recently. I travel a lot and loved the scale as soon as I got it. Worked fine for about three months and then one morning while walking to the airport one of the pins on the clamp broke loose and flew across the room. The bag I weighed was less than half of what it claims to hold. I contacted the seller here on Revain and while it was nice, I was told that the image is not acceptable and that I will have to ship to them (from overseas) to get a replacement (which is shipping to the US and therefore useless for me when traveling in the next few months). Since it was far from perfect, the (again very nice) salesman advised me to contact the "head office"/distribution office in Florida. So I did. After a week of no response after sending a message through the contact page, I called. It appears to be some sort of automatic call forwarding service, as you hear the message "Please identify the caller by name" and then turn on the music for maybe a minute before hanging up. I later tried it twice more with the same result. - Too bad because the scale was really nice and portable. What about a 5 year guarantee? Emm, no. Not even close. So buy at your own risk. There are other nearly identical (and better) options for about the same price, if not significantly cheaper.
