Must be fake/fake. Formatted to 32GB only

Bought with the intention of having extra storage space on my laptop which is also 256GB. Out of the box it showed up as 256GB in the command prompt/disk properties, but I couldn't write more than 32 +/-. When I tried to write to it it was only able to save about 30GB The write dialog failed and said the card needs to be formatted. I couldn't get any other reading on the card, it was useless so I formatted it and it only showed 32GB. I was surprised he wasn't actually under the gig, as is often the case with fake material. I'm telling you, the packaging was definitely good. The quality of the card itself looked real. It was made by Amzn so I bought it with confidence. But I'm guessing scammers even find their way through Amzn from time to time. Because there are a lot of fake stores out there, whatever you buy, test it out as soon as you get it. Sit on it for too long and you won't get it back.
