This mascara itself it great! I had been looking for a more earth-friendly mascara in a glass tube for some time. It’s not the most eco-conscious choice out there, but I don’t see myself fiddling with powders or waxes to do my mascara, which is what all the ones in truly recyclable/compostable containers seem to be.The mascara is great, a true black that is thick and doesn’t smudge or flake with hours of wear. The packaging is gorgeous. I love the color and weight of the tube, it feels so heavy and luxe. But the brush doesn’t work for me. The shape of it (skinny in the middle and fat on the ends) leaves my center lashes stuck together with big globs of mascara. I thought it was the mascara at first, but then I tried using the old spoolie from my last tube of Great Lash and suddenly the mascara was easy to apply and looked great. If the brush was a different shape I’d give this mascara 5 stars.
