Cheap junk. Too small to really make a cool effect at just over a dime. My dad had one and I remember playing around with it as a kid. Ours was much bigger and much stronger. I wanted one to stimulate my toddler's curiosity about science. All I could think of was cheap junk. If you even think about cleaning the mirror surface, the coating wears off. I used the softest microfiber cloth I could find to gently wipe the strip and scratch the surface. What pissed me off the most was that I wanted to buy a bigger and better quality Mirascope and I would gladly have paid three times as much. this one.if only i could find something like that. Sounds like you're stuck with either DIY or cheap junk.
