I bought this and have been using it for 2 months now. I opened it up by following the instructions in the email - so I had it fully charged on arrival in about 24 hours. I then used it for a total of about 20-25 minutes until it stopped working and recharged it overnight. This is required for proper battery setup and is the battery's normal charging mode. Follow it and you'll likely eliminate future problems and experiences saying it loses charge quickly. The suction power is strong. I'm not sure what people are expecting, but this is a handheld vacuum. I've been using them since the original vacuum cleaner, dirty devil etc etc. This one picks up sawdust, hair, dust, spilled flour, rice, sand. The car worked fine. There is a tool for nooks and crannies. The thing comes out of the main jet. It helped in hard-to-reach places. There is a fold-out brush that works well on bookshelves and furniture. Proper dusting in any case is done with a rag and a hanger or a mixture. It has no loading indicator. Imagine that if you charge it, you'll probably leave it for a few hours before using it again. If you're using it as a lightweight handheld device - you've spilled something or found something to clean up in minutes - then it's likely to charge fully quickly. If you've used it for 10-15 minutes, a few hours on the charger will bring it back to normal for the next use. I don't need a charging light for this, but I think it would be nice. In the worst case, the battery is dead, then I just charge it overnight without using it. Voila. It has a wall block. The charger is not built into the wallbox. I installed the shuttle unit just close enough to reach with the plug in the outlet---common sense. It's easy to disassemble - used the manual to figure out how to drain regularly. Use the manual to figure out how to go one step further, pull out the filter and give the filter a good clean or even rinse it under water (let it dry completely if you do this - common sense). The trash can is clean. I can see when it's almost full and empty it at that point since it works best (like ANY vacuum) when it's not full. or something fell straight off the wall mount. Now I just hold the device over the bin for a minute and tap my hand to make sure that doesn't happen, but usually when I empty the device (which happens almost every time) I make sure there aren't any vagrants therein reside recording care. .Some people say that the device (and other devices) is noisy. Some customers ask about the noise. Come on. This is a handheld vacuum cleaner from the category of mixers, blowers and vacuum cleaners. He's making noise, and again that's common sense. They don't call it Dustcatcher Whisper. However, this is not a leaf blower stage, blender stage or vacuum stage. I just wouldn't use it when your baby is sleeping or a loved one is on a conference call. I would say that for the money this is a solid home use vacuum and has improved over 25 years. I'll check in a year if it kind of dies in a year but for now it works well and fits the design and I chose it because of the performance specs. I ignored some of the reviews assuming they didn't charge it properly. I don't expect it to take more than 15-20 minutes or so. If I have that many handheld vacuums, I may have to use a regular vacuum. However, on a single charge I can do a 30 x 30 room for stains, kitchen nooks and crannies, bathrooms, window sills - for spot cleaning, cleaning.
