It seems to me that this is a fairly durable camera strap. The material is relatively thick and comfortable to wear. The plastic pieces that slide over the extra strap don't stay firmly in place, but I didn't notice my camera slip at all. I tested it with the heaviest possible camera configuration, which is my Nikon D800 with a Sigma 35mm ART lens and the battery compartment. Anyone who owns Sigma lenses knows that they are quite heavy. The strap is long enough for me - not too long to wear around my neck and swing willy-nilly everywhere, but not so short that I can't carry it over my shoulder if I want to. I am very happy. To be honest I wasn't expecting much for the price and was even willing to give it to my kid for their lighter camera if it didn't work for me. But i really like it.
