Durable This thing! I buy this hitch because I've often towed very close to the max with my other stock Reese 7k hitch that you can buy anywhere. As soon as you open the box, you'll realize that this thing weighs three times the weight of a regular hitch, but it's not too difficult to maneuver or anything like that. Personally I appreciate it, it's silly if your rig falls off when you're towing something. Something I didn't really expect before raising my truck a bit was that it liked to hit/scratch the ground when you were going up a steep road or exiting the road quickly. This was really unexpected as my Stock Ram 1500 at the time is quite tall from the factory. I could solve this problem by flipping it, but then it would hit the back door instead of the sidewalk. I tow enough that I don't often take the hitch off the receiver. I will say that even after breaking on the pavement for several months before installing my lift kit, there was almost no ringing. Last thing to consider is to buy a CURT blocking kit for it, https://www.amazon.com/dp/B006MDH3KY/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_49. I used to have a different type of lock and didn't have enough time to get through and lock the ball in the hitch. With the Curt set you get two locks with one key!
