Warning for SUP owners

I know I will probably get a lot of negative comments for this but I will warn SUP owners before buying as it clearly states this is NOT for SUP is: I would only recommend this alone if your board is 10ft or less, but it works for a large SUP if you're willing to add a little extra support. I bought the SUP version of this kit but it stuck out too far from the wall for my liking and after seeing a review from a SUP owner who had successfully used this version I bought it. It certainly held the weight of our 12-foot DuraSUPS, but the problem was that they didn't have enough room to lean comfortably against the wall and very gentle tugging would cause them to tip forward. I really didn't want to resort to the giant version of the SUP binding so I decided to just put the strap in the middle so they can't tip over. Works fine for me with this little modification. Just a word of warning to anyone who has a lightweight plastic (no epoxy) or foam SUP and is confident they can hold it properly: it holds the weight but it's not long enough. Wall to support it comfortably without any worries. I suggest the manufacturer create a "middleman" size, the SUP version really sticks out too much (11 inches vs. 6.5) for an average SUP thickness and makes it difficult to install SUPs indoors without that they take up a lot of space. Great product for the money and this setup works 100% for me in a small apartment. My only complaint was the quality of the hardware that came with it, one of the screw heads broke off when screwing it in. , causing the screw to get stuck in the wall.

Cons
