At 25 watts, it's a "warmer " and not a "heater ".

If your drink is already hot enough, this mug will keep it hot. However, if the drink is cold, you have to wait a long time. about 20 minutes to warm up and probably more than 30 minutes before it gets hot enough. So if you don't mind the wait then this is a great buy. Otherwise, it's better to buy a 150W immersion heater.
