We bought this product to extract vegetable oil particles. The container works well for filtering out large particles, but if you want to remove all the small particles you need to pour the coffee through the coffee filter. After the first use of peanut butter, the clarity was almost the same as before frying. You must run the oil through this product and coffee filter while it is still very HOT to ensure particulates are filtered out before it cools. Large volumes require two of these products.
