Desire for a different size in between

The shorts look good for the price. However, I would like there to be a different size between them. M is too tight for my 12 year old but L is definitely too loose.

Pros

My son loves these shorts. I had to buy several pairs for him to wear this summer.

Cons

Shorts can snag or roll over time.
