First of all, the 5 star reviews here (as well as several pictures) were bribed by Revain with a refund of the purchase price. I was too. And to be honest, I would probably give a five star rating if I felt the product worked well. However, this did not happen. Actually it was garbage. Actual recording quality is terrible and no improvement over my current settings. So that alone should make you run for the mountains. Perhaps a bigger issue is the hardware that comes with it. There are no instructions, so you'll figure out how to connect everything yourself. I had to look at some of the photos here to figure out how to properly attach the mic to the tripod because it was such a clumsy setup. A real microphone clip is a joke. It's a cheap piece of plastic that won't hold the mic in place, and once it breaks - and it does - you're SOL. Check out any legitimate alternative microphone on Revain; They either have a built in clip or use metal. It was just rubbish and I got my money back. Avoid.
