Review on SilverStone F1 Monaco S radar detector by Hasam Ali ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not a bad product, but you can find better.

I've been using it on the track for about 3 years now. The most basic drawback that works late on such radars as "Kardon", which look in the back - you have already caught up with the radar and only then the alert is triggered. The most annoying thing is that there is a limit of 200 km / h, i. E. will constantly squeak and yell "slow down", while not reflecting the camera, etc. Support replies that they didn't think anyone would exceed the speed limit. It also yells at other modern cars that drive ahead, apparently triggered by parking or overtaking sensors, mainly Kia and Hyundai. And while such a car is driving in front, it chirps all the time. It seems to be a trifle, but when you drive several thousand kilometers, it gets very annoying. Sometimes freezes and (or) is overloaded. If it's quiet for a long time, it means it's frozen. A complex system of settings and ates, you will have to get used to it. Which doesn't always work the first time. As a result, not an ideal device with its pluses and minuses. Now I would choose something else, like Neoline .

Pros
  • Catches a lot, looks decent
Cons
  • False alarms on car sensors, 200km/h limit
