Review on PRIMECOM Level 2 Electric Vehicle (EV) Charger (220V / 240Volt Tools & Equipment by Mysocalled Gaultier

I ordered the 30ft 14 30P version so I can use the dryer common outlet as I haven't called an electrician for another one yet Add circuit to mine Seems the company really cares about keeping you happy and they love their approach to solving different cable lengths by changing the length of the pigtail. On the J1772 side it's the standard length to the control box, and on the 14-30 side on the plug side they've inserted a NEMA L6-30R&P between the 14-30 and the control box for as long as it takes they can . I particularly like this approach because I have a 14-30 splitter, one connected to my dryer and the other connected to about 5' 14-30P>L6-30R and when I need to use EVSE I just connect L6 -30R&P with each other and it saves me from going behind the dryer and always hooking up the heavier 14-30Ps. I've only had one day but love this approach and am so glad I can charge faster than my L1. I didn't find the J1772 connector tight or difficult to remove as other reviewers have mentioned, so I'm not sure if it's a newer version, but it does release with the same force as any off the shelf or mine plug/unplug stock L1 charger. It's a reputable brand so I'm sure it will last, but I have no doubt Primecom will try to fix it if I have an issue.
