Trash Cans. We're out of town on the South Bay. Hurricane Ida made a lot of noise in our area. Almost everyone was without electricity (we were away for three weeks). Worse still, none of our well pumps could work as they were powered by electricity. So no running water for weeks. Those glasses showing up on time were a blessing, that's why. The first big advantage, they are perfect for our cleaning purposes on our land. We are dismantling the demolished parts of one of our barns. Or picking up the pieces that blew up our barn. Then we came up with another amazing application for them that made our life better. That was it. We connected a generator to one of our well pumps to power it. I put two cans in the back of one of our trucks and parked it near the pump. Then simply use the hose to fill each glass with water. First we washed the glasses thoroughly. Then he threw the cans at two of the few family houses on our land. The wooden board is correctly attached to the back door of the truck and they slide down nicely. We then had a water supply for flushing toilets, boiling water for cooking and portable camp showers. Plus dishwashing in small storage containers. So they're not just for junk, scrap metal, or storage. But also water if no running water is available. They're tough as bulldogs. They are built to last. And it can take a lot of abuse from what you throw in there. We got separate wheelbases for two of them, which was great. Because then you can lock them and just rotate them as needed. Which is also ideal for interior cleaning. These banks don't come cheap, but you can't appreciate the convenience and help they gave us when we needed them most. No, they do not come with a lid. That part didn't really bother me. Expect me to sit in the back of a truck and hold her as we drove her across our country. I guess I didn't plan well to fill it completely with water when we started driving the bumpy stretches of our private road. Needless to say I got a little wet lol. Great banks. They seem expensive but are still cheaper than many well known brands that are no more durable than these. So this is a great investment. We ended up ordering more, we are very happy with the usage we have already received from them.
