I hate phone cases. I'm really. They take a slim, beautiful phone and add bulk to it. Why? Add security to your phone because you're human, that's why. So the trick is to get the most elegant and beautiful case that still protects your phone from you. This case is a bit thicker and stronger than my S8, since the (thinner) S9 in this case is about the same thickness as my S8 in the minimal case (also Spigen). But I'm fine with that - I can immediately say that this case offers more protection - it's thicker and the material "gives" a little more. The extra thickness protects the camera lens and front glass better. That's the whole point, right? Find the sweet spot between "not there" and "bulletproof the phone."
