There were 3 things I didn't like about these calipers: First, the display isn't what I expected. I saw an advertised image showing 3 large decimal places on an image of a person measuring a large red gem. I haven't really looked at the other photos and there are conflicting images. I ended up with only 2 big digits and 2 small digits. I don't like it for my purposes. Second, the numbers shown are very small and don't contrast well with my other calipers. In other words, it's hard to see. See picture for comparison. Third, and this is the worst, they slide very badly. It feels like there's sand in it, and sometimes it even seems like it's stuck. What's so good about that? - I like the cover. It feels strong yet light. - The CR2032 battery is probably better than the smaller SR44 battery, but I can't comment on battery life or battery replacement. - They appear to be accurate and if they glided smoothly they would be reliable.
