Very Nice Product! for my opinion

I purchased this bolster for an unusual purpose. Our church is part of a Lutheran synod in which some congregations use kneelers during the service, but other congregations do not. Ours does not, and by far most people prefer to stand for prayer which is what we have done all along. But some of us would like to kneel for prayer, and I purchased this product to see if it would work as a kneeling pad.I have now taken it to church and knelt on it in the pew, and it really would work very well for that purpose. I showed it to our Pastor, and he is not completely sold because he would like to see built-in kneelers put into the pews. But that would be so expensive, and most people in the congregation don't want to to it, anyway. I just don't think we will ever do it in the forseeable future. If each of us who wish to kneel during prayer would purchase one of these, nothing would have to be done to alter the pews, no church money would be spent on something most people do not want, and the few of us who would like to kneel could do so.Don't know if I can sell this idea successfully at church, or not, but I would like to mention the characteristics of this product that make it so potentially good for this purpose: it provides really firm, but very comfortable, support to the knees; your knees don't sink right down through the stuffing material and hit the floor; it does not slip or slide away from you on the carpet but stays in place right where you kneel on it; it could stay under the pew in front of the pew you sit in between church services, and it could be removed and stored during services when it might not be desired; the zipper is covered so it won't cause any problems at all; it is thick enough to boost you up a bit in relation to the back of the pew in front, which is good; the cover is washable; the blue color is dignified and not as bright as in the picture; it is also rectangular, which is desirable, rather than square. The rest of the cushions I have looked at are square which wouldn't really work.I am going to show this bolster to a few other people who would like to be able to use a kneeler in our church and see what they say. A lot of churches do use some sort of pad for kneeling instead of built-in kneelers, and I have used some that left a lot to be desired (they slide away from you, for one thing). This is much better. Not a perfect solution, but potentially a quite good one, I believe. If I think of it, I will update this review and tell how my little "Don Quixotian" project works out. I honestly don't know if others will like this. My Pastor was sort of on the fence, but the idea may grow on him when he gives it some more thought. I honestly feel that the bolster works very, very well for this purpose since I have tried it out at church. I am surprised by how well it works.
