Review on ๐Ÿ’ช MoKo Band Compatible with Garmin Fenix 5 Quick Fit 22mm Stainless Steel Watch Band - Black by Alex Pollard

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great strap replacement if you don't like silicone straps.

This strap was SO difficult to put on. It must have taken me a full five minutes to change the group and resize it. Which project. Remove the original tape using the tool provided. Install the new band, I cheated and used a jeweler's screwdriver to insert one side of the locking pin to make it easier. Estimate how many links you need to remove. Remove these links with the provided tool. Reinsert a solid pin to reseal the connections. What a project, you need an engineering degree. Seriously, this is a reasonable strap replacement for those of us who don't like silicone watch bands. I wore my Instinct with the original strap on for about a week and started to develop an allergy to it, redness under the strap and severe itching. Garmin replacement straps should be gold or unobtanium considering their price. This is a great alternative. Since the bracelet is made of stainless steel, it is a bit heavier, especially compared to silicone straps, but this is certainly not a decisive factor. It appears to be made of stainless steel, magnets are not attracted to it. The black finish looks good on mine, but I think the anodizing will wear off over time. At this price it's not that much. I like the latch, it's easy to remove the watch without messing with sticky silicone mounts. Installation was easy, but to be honest, I swapped out watch straps for ones I like a long time ago, so I knew exactly what to do. Only time will tell how well they hold up to everyday wear. Update three weeks after wearing this band. I have fairly large hands and relatively small wrists. I can't get the group size right. They are either too loose, as in the case of a watch that falls on the wrist, or too tight. Saying too tight makes it uncomfortable to wear and a real PITA to take the watch off and put it back on, especially when I have wet hands. If I could add a half link it would fit perfectly but I can't figure out how. I ordered a completely different belt that is "infinitely" adjustable. It's a shame because I really like this band.
