UPDATE. Initially gave 5 stars. A month and 2 weeks later. This light lost its brightness out of nowhere. No damage was dealt to him, he was not dropped. But now the bright white and dull blue/white settings are exactly the same. Very disappointed it was so expensive it only lasted a month or two. However, it is a nice low light and blue light. I just got that and a humidifier for my hermit crabs. I love how thin this thing is, it weighs nothing and works amazing. I love that it has a touch button to switch between a light blue light and a slightly dimmer light. I don't think this light comes with a timer setting, or at least it's not listed in the instructions. $50 was a bit pricey for this, but all the others at the pet store were larger and were about the same price anyway. Light works wonders for my hermits, I can see their entire enclosure and they appreciate a more structured day/night lighting schedule. I was a little worried about putting this on the screen cover because of my humidifier as it says the light can't get wet. I've had no problems and have been using both for over a week. The light stays warm enough to prevent water from building up on it even when my humidifier is running at max power. This light isn't enough to emit heat, but I knew that when I bought it. Very impressive. Will get more for some of my other creatures!
