I think the blue light filter works, it was only used during the day but I have noticed less eye strain when using the computer for more than an hour a day. Time. It may be a placebo effect, so I'll keep using it and report back later. One thing about these filters is that the glare is really, really noticeable on these screens. So if you have a light or window behind you, it turns your computer screen into a mirror. At the moment I only use it at night or in a darkened room, but it would be nice if they had a matte finish (weird because I have trouble buying matte LCD screens because of the headache-causing glossy displays). I think if they filter out harmful blue light then it's worth it, but if it also eliminates the screen glare instead of adding it, I think it would be a much better product. Update: Having been using it for almost a year now I would say that overall it has greatly reduced the eyestrain and headaches associated with staring at a computer screen on a daily basis. I still wish they had a matte version of the screen protector, as I type this I can see my fingers in the reflection. and it is night!
