Review on πŸ§— Men's Black Diamond Momentum Lace Climbing Shoe by Simo Ramsey

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Looking for your first pair of climbing shoes? You found her.

I started climbing and was looking for good beginner shoes rather than renting them. I have to say that this shoe has made an incredible difference in my climbing ability. Rather than using shoes that have been worn by others and broken in on multiple feet, I use them as shoes that only I have broken in. After a month of use, it's in good condition and doesn't lose its shape either. or fit. Hooks on the heel and toe are no longer a problem for me. I was also able to climb v3 boulders and 5.8 parcours on the climbing wall much better than with rental shoes in the gym. Another plus is that these shoes mostly fit men's sizes (women's, I'm not sure). There is one downside, and that is that after a long climb, if you want to get your feet out and breathe, you need to untie and loosen the laces, where, like the Black Diamond Momentum Velcro, it's just, just off. But I've also heard from more experienced climbers that lace-up shoes have a better fit. So plus or minus, I personally don't have the experience to say which is better. I went for the laced version on her advice and it works great for me. In my climbing future, I will definitely consider the Black Diamond line of shoes first when I'm about to transition to more advanced shoes.
