Let me start by saying that the KSO EVO is a great shoe. The upper is light and super breathable, which makes them very comfortable to wear compared to, for example, the V-Train. and I'm sure I've forgotten a few others, they seem to be a major evolution in the product line. BUT for the price I can't recommend them. I totally understand the "story" of this FiveFingers line, but the outsole is TOO THIN and not what you want, just too thin to withstand everyday use. I have used these shoes everyday to walk the dog (about 3 miles) and then to exercise in the backyard of the house. I bought these on July 1st 2018 and have since September 6th 2018 - they have holes in two of the toes - not the fabric - but the sole itself under the toes has worn away exposing the fabric and tearing a hole in the shoes became toes. . As I love the fit and feel of them I will be using shoe slime to keep them going a little longer but $90 for 2 months wear is a bit ridiculous right now. All this to say that you will love these shoes. as long as they last. In the pictures you can see the shoe slime I applied to the hole that formed in the left shoe. There are no holes in the right boot yet, but they are very close. You can see how worn the sole is.
