It works well with my laptop with USB-A and USB-C (haven't tried USB Micro or Lightning). However, when I connect it to my Samsung Galaxy Note 9, it erases the SD card and starts creating the card as if it were an internal SD card. adds an Android folder and many subfolders for different applications. I'm not sure if this is a problem with the adapter or with the configuration of the phone. If anyone knows how to fix it please let me know because I really want this to work! I already have an SD card reader for my laptop, I need one that works with my phone! Even though USB-C is a balanced port and I can connect this device face up or face down, it only works in one orientation (face down). When I glue"face up" writes a device error. I'm also not sure if that's how it's supposed to be or if there's something wrong with the adapter or my phone. It doesn't matter to me as all I can do is learn to always plug it in "right". but in combination with the above problem I can't use this as intended. I'll contact the manufacturer and do a little google research to see if I can get it to work and update this post if I find anything.
