This is my first irrigator. I use it right after brushing my teeth. It's powerful! It's like a little pressure washer. I only use level 3 of 10 and my gums still bled the first time or two. My main complaint is that it's just big and awkward to use. If you take a full French baguette halfway into the tip of a pencil, you'll have a pretty good idea of what it's like to handle that thing. This makes accessing the molars a bit odd, and I can see how one with a small hose and wand would be useful. I can switch to any of them. But nonetheless, this is a decent machine for the price.
