I have used these gloves to wash two of my pet cows (huge animals weighing around 1500 and 2000 pounds). As I got older (uh, 34 (-:)) I was looking for something to make this grueling 2+ hour cow job a little easier. This item looked premium and was almost identical to the more expensive, more hyped $24.99 brand. .The main difference is that they don't have size options. Based on some helpful reviews I thought they might fit my hand nicely. If it helps anyone, the circumference at the widest part of my palm is about 8.5 inches - between medium and large Another brand's size chart. Also of note is that my middle finger is 3.25" from the crease where it attaches to the palm. Either way, they fit perfectly; not baggy or too tight. If you have a bigger hand than mine, they can it's a bit uncomfortable I haven't tried them on dry hair yet, but they are very comfortable to bathe in. I just squeeze the shampoo in my palm and scrub!iba, and now I know exactly how much pressure I'm putting on the sensitive areas of the body sensitive cows. Both liked the feel too. The spikes are nice and tough, but also rubbery. I had no problem removing the wet fur from these clumps - just sprayed them with water from a hose and set a higher pressure in my squirt gun, my only wish is to have grooves on their backs as well because it takes less effort to clean their bellies that way and both sides of that tight alas wash private areas at the same time. Whether they can stand it, I can't answer yet, but no problems have yet been found. Looking forward to using again in this hot weather!
