They RUSTED and RUSTED the first time I wet them! I use T-Pens when blocking my crochet projects that need water spraying, steaming or using a starch bath/fabric hardener. When making my snowflake lace/napkin decorations I was happy with the thin but strong needles but was appalled at the rust spots I found on my creations. I've never had this problem with other stainless steel/Nicola T-pins. The description even mentioned that they WILL NOT RUST. The price of 600 needles made them irresistible, but I had to throw almost half of them in the bin after one use, and the unused needles were placed in a bin marked WILL BURN IF WET and placed on a high shelf in my workshop. collect dust. I just hope I can salvage some of my jewelry and not waste the hours of effort and love I put into making it.
