Connecting and disconnecting cheaper power supplies that come with the Raspberry Pi, like the CanaKit, or Mini-NES/SNES cables. The toggle switch is not installed anywhere. This causes significant wear and tear on the device's small and delicate USB-C power connector. By using one of these devices, you reduce wear and tear significantly by simply having a toggle switch that cuts off mains power. These particular are a fine example. Not well done, but not 50 cent rubbish either. The cables and switch look like they'll last a few months with regular use, and since you get four of these in one package, one order will set you up for a while. However, the wires are on the thinner side, so I'd recommend avoiding anything that requires more than 3.5/4A to reduce the risk of fire.
