I don't use mine in the car so the adhesive works for me and I haven't seen the problems others have mentioned. I use it with Function 101 cable blocks, otherwise nothing works. The magnets are strong and hold almost all metal objects well to the edge of my desk. I like them better than Wizgear, which I also use. Wizgear is suitable for smaller places with weaker magnets. Skosche is larger in all directions and, most importantly, much wider. You may or may not like it. I had to adjust other items attached to the edge of the table to accommodate the size of this monster. And finally I have to mention the packaging that even puts Apple to shame for the packaging. 3/4 of the price of this product are included in the package. This is a staff with magnets inside, packaged as a thin crystal in a box that is easily 10 times the size of an ingot. Wait for the return from the Amazon warehouse and hope the packaging has been thrown away. Everything he said. The magnets are strong and it does what I wanted very well. Super overpriced but works well. YMMV.
