These headphones will fit a teenage or adult head, but there are certain features that make them kid-friendly. The band that runs across the top of the head has a soft rubberized finish that makes it comfortable. They are lightweight, suitable for small ears, and the cord is covered in woven fabric, making the cord more durable and less prone to tangling. But what really makes these headphones great for kids is the volume limit. They may only be turned up loud enough to protect the children's hearing. They have a really clean sound quality, you can't turn the volume up because of the volume limiter. The only thing I didn't like was that the cord is very long. The girl I bought them for stepped on a string one day. But most people will probably find a very long cable handy, so I don't think it's a problem. These are the nicest baby headphones I've found in this price range and the color is pretty cute too.
