Overall, this keyboard is good. The keys have medium actuation (force to press a key) with low noise, as expected given that this isn't a mechanical keyboard. Any keyboard with functional media keys in this price range is a winner. The backlight has two settings: always on or pulsing. As far as I can tell there is no way to turn it off. However, I found two downsides. First, this keyboard doesn't have legs, so it needs to lie flat on the table. This is not an ergonomic issue for touch typists, but it can cause key recognition problems for touch typists. I find the backlight helps in that regard. The biggest fault I have with this board is that the spacebar on my INCREDIBLE squeaks. One of the most used keys on a keyboard seems to be cheaply made, which is a real shame. I may be sending this board back because of the squeaking. It was quite painful to write this review without headphones.
