After using the in-ear wf-1000xm3, I switched to these and quickly became irritated. In a smaller iteration of the headphones, the transparency mode works as intended, the noise cancellation is better (apart from windy conditions; the larger ones perform better in the wind), and I found the sound to be pleasing. Here, the sound is merely neutral; for this money, neither praise nor criticism is appropriate. I fell in love with them since in small ones, the sound produced feelings (both good and bad). This item in turn suggested to me that it was time to stop using Sony headphones because their full-size models lack faith in the build quality and their coveted noise-canceling technology is not worth the money because it loses their little version (albeit for obvious reasons). Yet, it's unfortunate for walking noises in general.
