I believe they should be sold as razors that are almost shaved, the fit and finish was better than expected for the price, for a razor under $30. I wasn't expecting perfect, it just needs some tweaking and a few small touches to personalize it after killing the edge and going through all the steps of beveling and going from 1000 whetstone to 3k to 5 and then to my fine slab of slate . It pops hair out like a high dollar razor. It's definitely a good candidate if you're just starting out in sharpening a straight razor, or coming back like me, you don't have to worry about ruining an expensive straight razor, a great thing for learning the craft.
