Review on πŸ”’ Waterproof SlimFold Minimalist RFID Wallet for Men - Essential Wallets, Card Cases & Money Organizers by Jeff Kern

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Better than a regular wallet but beware of the stretch factor.

I've had SlimFold since June 2017. I'm in the process of buying a wallet (which reminded me to write a review on the wallet I'm leaving). The Good: First of all, SlimFold was all I wanted/needed - I'm a heavy porter, so holding 20 cards without bulging was a huge leap for my wallet game. Caveat: I found the card slots very unforgiving - if you signed up to carry 2 cards for the life of the wallet. It will never again reach the size of a single card. Of course, for two years I once had 2 cards in each slot, so if I turn the wallet upside down and shake it, everything comes out except the ID. Why I keep going: I'm tired of losing cards. I still like the SlimFold's performance, and on the outside it holds up well to daily worker bashing, but the card slots' slack was overly dramatic. After 2 years of use I would need to stuff 10 more cards into my wallet to get an acceptable/secure level of card capture that I really want to carry around. If you use SlimFold for minimal carryover (which defeats the purpose of an 11-compartment elastic wallet) you can probably live 2 years without significant loosening, but if you use Slimfold as advertised, you'll be wondering what happened to Amex. If this can be resolved in a later model, I'd probably revisit SlimFold later.
