Painful installation. You need to remove the front differential. Front drive axle. Rear Crossbar. Separate the CV axes. Only lower the rack to remove the oil pan. I had to drill out the rivets on the factory seal. It took me and a friend 8 hours. It would be a lot easier on a four wheel drive truck. I have a Silverado 1500LT 2011 5.3L V8 Z71 4x4
