I'm giving the hat a 4 because it seems to be of good quality and quite comfortable. The problem, and this isn't the company's fault, is that the hat doesn't fit properly. I've never found a hat that fits perfectly and I was hoping so, but unfortunately it ends up in the bin with a dozen other hats that don't fit. I want a hat that fits over my head and covers my ears. fully. I don't want any part of my earlobes sticking out of the bottom of the hat, that's just a personal matter. This hat is comfortable and feels very soft. It warmed my head but didn't suffocate my scalp. It didn't shrink even after washing. I have a basket full of hats and if I had to pick one from there to use, this would be the one. until I find the perfect unicorn hat that I have yet to find.
