Review on Noctua NH-D15S chromax.Black: Premium Dual-Tower CPU Cooler with NF-A15 PWM 140mm Fan - Black by Eric Graves

I have come to the conclusion that water coolers are the best CPU coolers. Wow, I was wrong. I had an H115i water cooler for 3 years and thought it was the best until the pump broke. Then I looked for a new cooler. I have an I7-6700K overclocked to 4.6GHz. Here are the results of the coolers I tested with Prime95 and 70F Ambient: Water - H115i - 85°C, Water - Castle 280EX - 78Cair - Assassin III - 72Cair - NHD-15S - 69°C. the pump is dead. The Castle 280EX is a good cooler and runs slower than the H115i, but the fans are VERY noisy at full speed. Assassin III is a good air cooler, but the unit I received has a very noticeable fan hum at all speeds. I finally settled on the Noctua NHD-15S and was blown away by the cooling performance and smoothness of this cooler. The full black color of the Chromax is beautiful and goes well with my RGB fan-lit NZXT case. If you're considering the Noctua NH-D15S, just buy it. You will not be disappointed.
