Review on Enhance Your VR Table Tennis Experience with AMVR Table Tennis Paddle Grip Handle for Oculus Quest 2 Touch Controllers by Jason Cox

Revainrating 2 out of 5

purchased for Oculus Quest 2 Table Tennis Eleven VR

The grip is light, which is normal, but the setting in the application does not match the design and position of the controller when installed. Software/Oculus becomes disoriented and causes (in-game) the paddle to suddenly "float" away from you while playing. This is when you hold it in a natural or expected position. like a real table tennis bat. It also slips out of your hand an inch or two, resulting in an unexpected position when playing. The solution is to think about what position the controller would be in if you weren't using an adapter, and hold the knob so that the controller is closest to that position. I found keeping this adapter halfway between left and right (natural) paddle positions worked for me. Another way to visualize the colored part of the paddle is to point it up and down (obviously it would be either left or right), this way of holding doesn't cause the controller to lose track.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Out of fashion

I love it and it make me feel like I'm playing better.
