I swaddled my newborn in these for the first 3 months along with other brands like Swaddle Me. What I really like about them is that they are thin enough that I can put them in a jumpsuit, wear pants and socks underneath without worrying about her tiny body overheating. We live in the Pacific Northwest which is cold compared to California where we are from. I really like that these duvets are great for warm weather but can be used with layers underneath in the winter. My only complaint is that the velcro is a bit rough and doesn't fully hold on all sides. Overall, however, these duvets served their purpose and I am happy with my purchase.
