I bought these to use as baby washcloths and while they are nice and thick they lack the softness that I wanted and expected. Another brand of muslin fabric dyed with inorganic dyes is much softer, which is disappointing when comparing the two fabrics. A thread is passed through the fabric, dividing the fabric into four parts. If you look carefully at the photos of the product you will see this, but I did not notice it and I would not have known that if I had noticed it before buying it, I would not have liked it; but the roughness, combined with the thread running through the fabric from edge to edge on all four sides, makes me wish I hadn't refused to try them. I would not recommend and definitely not buy again. Update: I'm impressed with the quality of service the seller has shown me in response to a concern in my review. Not only was I informed that they took my feedback seriously and made changes in areas they identified as possible, they explained the nature of natural colored cotton in detail, which took them time. Not only did you take my review seriously. and eliminate every negative point I mentioned, it was done with great kindness and concern for improving their product. It seems to me that they really care about the quality of their products and want to make improvements so that their customers are happy with what they sell. Reviewed and noted to greatly improve the quality of their washcloths, so I'm giving an extra star and saying I recommend. BTW, while the softness doesn't improve, I'd like to report that if someone is looking for a thick, durable fabric with exfoliating power, this is a good choice.
