Review on Smart Wireless Bluetooth BBQ Thermometer with 6 Temperature Probes - Perfect for Smoker, Grill, and Oven Cooking by Justin Newport

Revainrating 2 out of 5

This is not a "wireless " thermometer

I got it because it was "wireless" but the only wireless part is you can view the temperature in the phone app. To complete the puzzle, the photo in the advert shows the sensors with no cables connected - which fooled me. But what's actually attached to the probes are the same old wires that come out of the oven/grill and connect to the receiver/transmitter. I already have one of these. Yes, the temperatures are sent to my phone, but I don't need it because I'm always in the receiver's field of view while cooking - I'm cooking meat, so where should I go? It tracks 6 channels, which is good, but I don't need to track everything - just the tiniest bit of meat so I don't overcook.
