Review on πŸ₯— Efficient and Practical 21 Day Portion Control Container Kit - 14 Piece Set by Casey Tatum

Basically an expensive set of cheap measuring cups.

Where to start. First of all, don't think that by buying a "set of 4" that you'll be able to make 4 days worth of meal prep. Matter of fact, for my calorie range, a set of 4 doesn't make up 1 full day. You need multiples of most colors and only 1 of each of the smaller ones. That makes this simply a very expensive set of measuring cups. For that, I could just use my own measuring cups and generic tupperware. On that subject, generic tupperware is 1000 times better at holding food. This stuff is not even remotely leak proof; any wet food is gonna get everywhere. The lids also pop off with the slightest movement. So what's the appeal? Supposedly, the diet literature and technology tracking app. What you ACTUALLY get is a single page with very generic foods for each portion size. You can go online and download their PDF, but it's basically all tips and tricks for diet discipline; doesn't have any kind of structured diet plan. For the tracking app, it's simple. You open it and tap the color corresponding to the portion you've just eaten and it basically checks it off like a checkbox. Not too bad, not too good. The kicker? Day 7 it tells you that you have to pay a subscription fee in order to continue using the app to track. A very basic free tracking app that doesn't track for free.Ultimately, this is a waste of money on poorly made tupperware.

Pros
  • Double kit so it is easier to plan your day without having to keep washing containers.
Cons
  • Containers may not be suitable for freezing or for use in the dishwasher
