A lot of people say the wood is unfinished which made me expect it so I was surprised it had a really really fine finish, I found that out when I marked it and the pencil would not stick to shinier stains. I love it and it's way better than what I've used on my Prismacolors before. However, he lost points for two reasons. What already bothers me is the lack of support for each drawer, instead each one supports the one above it so that when you close one of them under the other you have to lift the top ones that it returns to its place. The second reason is the lack of any kind of lining. So if you're having trouble sliding the drawers in like I did, the pins slide back making it hard to see the next time you open them, and it has to be lifted at the back to slide them forward (so if you don't be careful, the pins can be damaged). previously every Prismacolor colored pencil and gave 3 additional fields for black, white and blender. Even after doing this I still have 3/4 of the box left.
