Review on 🔧 Complete Klein Tools VDV002-818 Coax Install and Test Kit: Includes Crimp Tool, Tester, Stripper, and Universal F Connectors by Brian Forbis

I've had cable problems in my house since I moved in. The signal tee at the top was gone and the TV was pixelated. I called the cable company and they remade some splitters but that didn't help much. During that time I had two different cable companies and I had the same problems. So I bought one of those kits and a cable reel, some bi-directional splitters and rewired whatever I could around the house. I used a new type of cable (RG6 Quad Shield) and this kit. I didn't realize how bad my old plugs and cords were until I started replacing them with these. The connectors crimp tightly and I don't know why others had problems, but it worked great for me. I watched a few videos on how to use the Quad Shield properly (pretty easy). When I was done, everything worked wonderfully. I even ran an extra cable in a few spots that I might need in the future. Note: There were two places I was NOT able to replace the old cable, but I installed new connectors with this kit. The t-shirt still worked great. Including the ability to interact with the remote control (a kind of two-way communication via cable, not just the TV). So why four stars? - I think because I had to find a way to keep everything together with the instructions when I finished using them. It could have come with a zip and I would have been happy but nothing so I had to come up with something. One last confession - I've never used a tester so I can't tell you if it worked well or not, but I assume it will work well.
