Upower Auto Parts Disappoints Me Once Again

Unfortunately, I had to order auto parts from Upower lately, and the whole ordeal was one I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. Although I had heard some negative things about the company, I decided to give them a shot because they seemed to have a decent reputation in the auto sector. My interactions with Upower were less than ideal. To begin, there was an absolutely horrible lack of customer service. When I called their customer service line, the person who responded was quite unhelpful and appeared disinterested in answering my concerns about the products I was looking at. She seemed to be reading from from a script and completely disregarded my concerns. Second, the quality of the replacement components I purchased was inadequate when they finally arrived. Not what I expected to get for my money, the exhaust system looked corroded and old. I contacted Upower about this, and their response was just as disappointing. They said there was nothing they could do and that I should have double-checked the components before buying them. Upower's emissions control technology, which I ultimately purchased, was useless. I had to pay extra to get my automobile fixed so that it would pass my state's emissions requirements, something it had previously failed to do. What a ridiculous expenditure of resources! My time spent with Upower as a whole was really disheartening. If you need high-quality auto replacement components, do not buy from this firm. The emissions control system was worthless, the service was bad, and the parts were of poor quality. If you need help with your car, I recommend looking elsewhere.

Pros
  • Quality automotive parts
