You have to be realistic about how much you spent on it and how much you think it will cool the room. I bought it with low expectations. I didn't think it was cooling at all so I ran into town and bought another fan and both worked. The second day I was just using a fan I bought in town and it was uncomfortably hot so I added ice and water and let this little guy run and I can say it really helps. But that will only be the area around it, you will not cool the room.
