To be honest they felt like fakes. My heel has never slipped.
I've had the New Balance 9.5 D since 2005. This pair has a cheap feel and you can see the glue on all the seams. Made in Indonesia, the NB quality has greatly decreased. To be honest they felt like fakes. I've never had heel slippage on a New Balance pair. A pair of $10 WalMart shoes would be better than these NB shoes. Scary stuff guys! Purchase at your own risk. This cheap pair of fakes when you come back!
