The quality is worse than I have ever seen, a complete disappointment

Considering the drawbacks, this device is best avoided if you are not planning on installing it permanently in your home. What are the benefits? Not that I particularly enjoyed it, but in theory these gadgets might be used to greatly increase the range of a password-protected home network. However, this is the only use case (for those whose homes still use 2.4 GHz networks). has certain drawbacks Everything is worse than the most basic nameless repeaters. Unless the home network is amplified and full power is required, complexity will not be a limiting factor. You can't use hotel Wi-Fi if you don't know how to jive with a tambourine and some software. Any password will allow you to connect, but at the cost of various inconveniences. - You cannot access advanced options like switching the repeater network's name or password or viewing the network with the best coverage. - You can't change any of the preferences through the web interface (again, there aren't any). In other words, there is no way to alter the device's settings once the application is no longer running (and history demonstrates that all applications eventually die).
