Review on KitchenAid KE166OSAQA Classic Plastic Colander - 5-Quart Aqua Sky: Durable and Stylish Kitchen Essential by Logan Broadnax

Although claiming to be dishwasher safe, this product is not. On first use we found the strainer to be the perfect size for our dinner recipes for two, it was extremely durable and felt very solid in the hand. Unfortunately the handles melted when we first used it and put it in the top rack of the dishwasher. Our KitchenAid dishwasher never melts plastic on the top shelf. This product has clearly not been tested in the KitchenAid laboratories using a KitchenAid dishwasher.
